Lunch Date

On one of my days visiting in Utah, Grandma W came out to Mom's house for lunch and a visit (thanks for making the trip out, Grandma!). Mom and I made a YUMMY salad from one of my favorite cookbooks that neither of us had tried before. It was DElicious and definitely a keeper on the list of salads to make! It was so scrumptious that I had to take a picture of it to post on my blog. Mom and Grandma chuckled a little as I snapped away . . . doesn't it look good though?

We also ate warm Lion House rolls (you can now buy a mix to make them at home "almost" from scratch--it doesn't get much better than that!) with raspberry jam. The kiddos enjoyed eating their lunch outside--LOVE that Spring weather--while Mom, Grandma and I enjoyed a semi-peaceful and quiet lunch/visit inside.

Good food. Good family. Good fun!
