fred and ginger - a post by JACK

Blueberry and Princess Aurora and Lola and Tiger and Bear died. That's sad because I loved Blueberry. We have four plants in our aquarium. Dad and me choosed two of the same type of plant. Mom's is the swiggly leaf one and Olivia's is the tall red one.

Fred and Ginger are Mom's fish and they're gold and they're the only ones that lived. It is fun to have pet fish.

Yes, we started with 7 fish and now only have two--what's up with that?? We are not good fishkeepers I guess. Most of the excitement of having a pet has worn off, but can you really blame the kids when their fish died off in the first week that we had them?? I have to say that keeping fish is a lot more complex than I was expecting! We're still trying to work out the water problems that killed the first batches of fish (they died off twice!) and hopefully soon we can add a few more fish to the family (and keep them alive)!

It's hard when pets die, isn't it Jack? I loved your post! I hope you'll do more.

Hi Jack, I had a gold fish that died. His name was fishy...he was very wild and tried to jump out of his bowl alot. He made me laugh. I liked your picture. I am going to bed.
