a shiner for Jack
What happens when the bulletin board displaying all your art throws itself at you (Jack insists he didn't pull or push on it causing it to fall)???
The board actually hit Jack on the outer edge of his cheek, but all the blood drained up and around his eye giving him this beauty of a shiner. Nice. Not surprisingly, he was quite interested in how and why his eye was all funny looking and colorful. Another educational biology moment at our house. . .

Oh, all of my kids get at least one shiner in their early years - Isabel was the last to have one just recently. Don't you love the stares you get from other people as they look in horror from your child's face to yours?

It makes him look older! Or maybe it has just been a year. Now that it's warmer, I miss having you as a running partner. Loved the chalk board tablecloth too.
